The Bridgestone DOT tires have great grip and terrific wear even at Thunderhill. The BT-003 in a Soft front (Type 4) and Medium  (Type 3) rear works great at Infineon, Laguna Seca, Thunderhill and Buttonwillow and these are available in either a 180/55 or 190/55 size.
